Monday Blues: Blue Year's Snowflakes

Hello lovely readers! I have a ton of blue polishes to show you for Monday Blues, but instead I decided to do some seasonal nail art. I've seen a bunch of snowflake manis last week and I also wanted to wear my China Glaze Blue Year's Eve again, so instead of being a good blogger and preparing this week's challenges, I did another snowflake manicure. Of course now I'm gonna do the nail art for Wednesday in the last minute, but apparently that's how I roll lately. Here's my precious snowflake mani!

I already did a snowflake mani a couple of weeks ago, and you can see it here. That one was totally different because it was delicate and subtle. This one is bright and blingy. I like both subtle and blingy manicures. I guess I'm just that complicated.

I started this manicure with 3 coats of China Glaze Blue Year's Eve from last year's holiday collection. The post is a little old and the pictures are not that great, but you can still check it out here, if you want to. Then I painted the snowflakes with a small nail art brush and white polish. They were not that hard to paint, just a little patience is needed. I added some dots to mimic the snow falling in the background. Finally, I sponged some China Glaze Lorelei's Tiara on the tips and I was done.

I love how this came out! There's just something about snowflakes that I like so much. They are so beautiful and delicate! And because I like it so much, I'm gonna wear this to school today. Who cares about the glitter, if they don't like it they should mind their own business. Am I right, Gosia

I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did! Check out these lovely ladies' blogs to see other awesome blues:
