Born Pretty Store Nail Studs Review

Hello my lovelies! Excited about the weekend? It's mostly gonna be just work for me this week, but I'm throwing in some fun cause there's a beauty expo in town. Hope I don't spend too much! Today I want to talk to you about studs. You probably know by now that I'm a big fan of studs on the nails. I've shown you a stud wheel from Born Pretty Store before (review here), so this time I'm showing you the other stud wheel they have available in the store. I had to have these too!

Born Pretty Store studs*

Compared to the stud wheel I've reviewed the first time, this one is totally different. So you can get them both without worrying that you'll have dupes. The studs in this wheel are generally larger. It contains large squares, both in silver and gold, as well as large hearts, diamonds, stars, circles and triangles. There are also some very cool rectangles that I've never seen before. Finally, some small gold and black round studs that I used to create the first look.

I went all out for this manicure! I started with a base of Essence A Lovely Secret, then stamped with a purple Opoola stamping polish using plate BM-310. The image on the ring finger is sort of a mirror image of the one on the other fingers and comes from the same plate. After I stamped, I placed the gold and black studs covering the tiny flowers from the design. The gold studs were flat but the black ones were a little higher and the top coat looks a bit weird and bubbly. I still liked this look a lot.

The other nail art look is a bit more subtle, for those who prefer just a studded accent nail instead of a full bling manicure. The base I used is Barry M Bright Purple. On the accent nail, I placed 2 of the beautiful star studs from the wheel. On the other nails I used some tape to create diagonal tips with p2 Sand Style Seductive. I love the way the gold studs match the shimmer in the textured polish!

I really don't have to tell you how much I love studs. They have easily become one of my favorite nail art accessory. Another thing I like about them is that you can reuse them after each manicure. You can get this particular stud wheel from here. Use code MFL91 at checkout for a 10% discount!

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you liked my designs!
