The idea of this sandwich started from a nude jelly that I recently purchased, namely Essence Give Me Nude, Baby!. It's a very light milky jelly polish that claims to have a "perfect finish". I don't know about that, but I can tell you that it's very sheer. So sheer that I didn't want to use it as a base for the sandwich because it would have needed too many coats to be opaque. So instead I started with two coats of Flormar 12 from the Plus Quartz line. I then added one coat of OPI Lights of Emerald City, a glitter that I borrowed from my kind friend Kinga. It contains square glitter (one of my favorites) in two colors. There are larger white squares and smaller iridescent squares. Unfortunately this was hard to apply because of the thick gloopy base and the fact that the larger glitters are so hard to fish out of the bottle. Here's how it looked over the Flormar base.

I really liked how this came out, too bad for the bubbles. I will definitely try this combo again with a different glitter. It's such a great way to create a neutral manicure. Both elegant and fun at the same time!
