Hello my lovelies! It's the first Monday in May and I have a spring blue to show you. It's one of the new Gelly Hi-Shine colors that Barry M recently came up with. I personally love this collection so I was excited to try some new shades. After reading the great reviews online I had to order a couple of the new colors. This is the first one I try and I'm extremely happy with it.

From all the blue cremes I own, Huckleberry is the lightest one. It's even lighter than my beloved
Illamasqua Caress, which seemed impossible before I got to compare them. It's a true pastel blue but it's not chalky at all. Frankly, I was convinced that all pastels were chalky before I met this polish. It's just fantastic and the color is absolutely perfect!

With such a perfect color, it is not surprising at all that the formula is also great. The Gelly Hi-Shine polishes have a thicker formula but they are really easy to work with. This one only took 2 coats to be opaque, which is great for such a light color. It also dries to a very shiny finish. I only added top coat to make it dry faster, because I've noticed that the polishes from this collection tend to dry slower on me compared to other Barry M polishes.

I didn't have time to add any nail art to this yet but I'm already thinking of using it as a base for future manicures. The fact that it's so easy to apply makes it a great go-to light blue. If you have access to these polishes I really recommend getting this. You won't be sorry! Don't forget to click on the links below to check out some more Monday Blues!
