The thing about galaxy manicures is that there's no right or wrong way to do it. You just take a sponge and as many polishes as you can and randomly place the colors. You just need to have fun with it. And if you don't like the result, add some more colors. There are tons of tutorials online but I don't think you need one. It's a piece of cake!
I started with a base of my favorite polish of all time, China Glaze First Mate. I used a ton of polishes for the sponging: China Glaze Flyin' High and Aquadelic, Color Club Pucci-licious and Look, Don't Tusk and also some China Glaze Liquid Leather for the darker areas. I then added some Essence I Love Magic (holographic glitter) in the darker, deeper parts of space and finished with a few white dots. The only thing I regret is that the purple didn't photograph well because there was a lot more of it in the lighter parts than you can see in the pictures.
This is the type of manicure that doesn't get a lot of compliments because most people don't understand what it is. I, however, loved wearing it and I think that's what counts. Hopefully you will like it too and I can't wait to read your comments and see what you think. Don't forget that there are more Monday Blues in the links below!
