Hello my lovelies! I've been a bad blogger again and was too lazy to write posts for the past few days. But today I decided to show you one of the latest and most exciting additions to my nail polish collection. We all have indie brands that we love and would want to own every single polish from. For me that brand is KBShimmer and until recently I didn't own any. But thanks to the kindness of Fingers Polish Mania I was able to get my hands on a few, including my biggest lemming of all time. But that one is a subject for another post. The one I'm showing you today is probably the most famous polish KBShimmer makes.

KBShimmer Oh Splat! indoors, artificial light |
Oh Splat! is a white jelly polish that is full of all sizes and colors of glitter. There's literally every color of the rainbow in this one. The white base is sheer enough to make the glitters show through, but opaque enough to offer coverage. The glitter is not extremely dense, which I like. It's more of a subtle glitter look instead of a full glitter bomb like China Glaze It's a Trap-eze.

Given that the base is a jelly, I needed 3 coats of polish to achieve this look. I should have probably rolled the polish between my hands a bit more so I could get some more of the bigger glitter out. I love that the KBShimmer polishes come with instructions on how to apply and remove the polish. I used a peel-off base coat, so I didn't need the foil method for this one, but it's nice to know that people are informed about it.

I absolutely love this polish and I'm so happy I could get my hands on it. I can't wait to show you the other KBShimmer beauties that I got. Stay tuned!
