Monday Blues: Bronze and Blue

Hello my lovelies! I think this is the latest I've ever posted my Monday Blues post. It's been a crazy crazy Monday for me but all in all it was a good day. The manicure I'm showing you in this post is a pretty unusual one for me. The idea started from some pretty awesome studs that the Born Pretty Store kindly sent for review. I tried to match the design of the studs with a saran wrap manicure and this is what came out.

The studs I'm talking about are speckled and have really cool colors on them. They come in a nail wheel with two different shapes (square and round) and a bunch of different color combos (pink and black, red and black, green and black, black and white, blue and bronze, black and gold). Some of them look like animal print and others like marble, but the main thing is that they are really cool.

I immediately got inspired by the blue and bronze ones, because they look very elegant and sophisticated. I tried to create the same effect on my nails and used the studs for the accent nails. Because I didn't have the same exact colors, I used China Glaze Bahamian Escape as a base and H&M Copper for the saran wrap nail art technique. Unfortunately the bronze on the studs photographed more gold, but I can assure you that this was a better match in real life.

I really loved how these nails turned out and I enjoyed wearing them this weekend. If you are interested in these studs, you can find them here. Don't forget that you can use code MFL91 at checkout to get 10% off your order.
