Monday Blues: Blue Flowers

Hello my lovelies! I am writing this post on a Thursday evening because I will be away for the whole weekend and will probably be too tired to write it on Monday. I can't say anything about the weekend that has passed because for me it's still in the future. I'm sure it's gonna be awesome though. Anyway, the manicure I'm showing you today is one that I'm really proud of. Take a look!

Aren't they pretty? I know I'm tooting my own horn here but I really really love these. They looked even better in real life and I really enjoyed wearing them. I usually don't like it if my nails don't look completely the same, yet this time it worked. Love them!

I used the lead lighting technique and my home made sheer tints to create these. The base color is OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and I stamped with Konad Black. I used a stamping plate from the Born Pretty Store called Y008. It's a square plate that has one huge flower image that is perfect for lead lighting. Half of it is the part that I used and the other half is like a negative of the first pattern. It's really cool!

I really hope you like these nails as much as I did. I love the lead lighting technique. These nails are easy to create and impress everyone. Don't forget to check out the rest of the Monday Blues in the links below!

Have a great week!
