Monday Blues: Gradient Windows

Hello my lovelies! Sorry for skipping the last Monday Blues but it was a holiday in my country and I couldn't be bothered to do nail art and write a post. But this week I'm back and I'm happy that I survived the first day of the week. Monday is always hectic and stuff seems to be piling up on my to do list, so I do my best to keep calm and not get overwhelmed. It always helps if I have something nice on my nails. This week I did a gradient but instead of using it as a base I stamped it. Here's what came out!

I started with a base of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, the perfect off white creme. I haven't used this in a while because I'm actually running low and don't want to finish the bottle. I might have to track down another bottle of this though since it's such a good base for nail art. Two coats was all it took to get it nice and opaque.

I then used 3 shades of blue for the stamping to create sort of a gradient: Born Pretty Stamping Polish 9#, Mundo de Unas Lavender and Iris. I used an image from plate 27 Dreamology from Moyra with windows that I thought would look really cool. The gradient stamping may not look like much zoomed in, but it does look like I have a gradient on my nails if you look at them from a distance.

I really like how these look. They are different and cheer me up when I look at them. Hope you like them too! Make sure you check out the rest of this month's Monday Blues in the links below!

Have a great week!
