Monday Blues: Tropical Blue

Hello my lovelies! I'm back! First off, I have to apologize for this long absence. I know that no excuse is good enough, but I still have to mention that I'm going through a very busy and stressful period. I have a very important exam coming up this fall, one that is crucial for my career as a doctor. There's a lot of study material to cover and that on top of work. So between lack of time and stress, I couldn't find the motivation to blog. Once I gave up on posting it was harder to pick it back up. But these days I found myself missing blogging and talking to you about nails. I still do my nails once a week but lately my nail art game has been on and off. I still created a few nail art looks that I'm excited to show you, even though most weeks I just did a simple stamping or even an accent nail manicure with plain colors. But you can tell that I got in the mood for nail art again because a couple of weeks ago I did a leadlighting manicure. This is the result.

Leadlight Flowers

Hello my lovelies! It's a beautiful Saturday in my neck of the woods and I decided to spend my morning doing nail related stuff. I had a ton of unedited pictures of manicures that are now taken care of and a few YouTube videos from my favorite nail artists to watch. But now I'm going to write this post to show you my latest work of art. I did these nails a couple of days ago because I missed doing a leadlight manicure and been wanting to do one in weeks. I finally gathered up some free time and got to work. I'm really pleased with the result!

Arabesque Flowers

Hello my lovelies! I feel like I say this at least every other week but boy, was this week challenging. To show you just how busy I've been, let me tell you that I created the manicure from today's post last Saturday and I only took it off a few hours ago. I don't remember the last time I wore a manicure for a whole week but it definitely was ages ago. I was planning to get away this weekend but my plans fell though, so I was looking forward to a bit of rest. I don't know how but the weekend became busy too and I'm in a rush even as I'm writing this. Anyway, enough with complaining and let's get to the nails. This manicure took quite some time to be created but it was totally worth it. You can see for yourself why that is.

Born Pretty Store QA83 Stamping Plate Review

Hello my lovelies! As usual it's been a busy week for me and I haven't had a lot of time for blogging. I did however do a few nail art looks last Sunday so I have lots of stuff to show you. First up is an awesome stamping plate from the Born Pretty Store. I think you know by now that I love their plates, especially the ones from the QA series, so I try one every time they send me stuff for review. This particular plate has a bunch of full nail designs that are perfect for the stamping decal and the leadlight techniques, because they have lots of space for coloring and the possibilities are endless. I created my second leadlight stamping manicure with plate QA83* and here's how it turned out.

Alphabet Nail Art Challenge: Letter F

Hello my lovelies! It's Saturday! And beside it being the first day of a long weekend, it's also time for me to show you some nail art. You might have noticed that I haven't been doing much of that lately. Lack of time and inspiration have been the main reason. I'm very happy to let you know that my inspiration is back. Yesterday I did two different nail art looks so I already have posts ready for next week. But first let me tell you about the Alphabet Nail Art Challenge. This very fun challenge was started a few weeks ago by the lovely ladies in The Polish Addict group on Facebook. It's very easy: each week has a different letter and everyone gets to do some nail art with a theme that starts with that letter. Luckily, there are no rules about joining so you can join every week that you can. That's how I was able to join in at letter F. I created some flowers (no surprise there, really) using a technique that I've been meaning to try for a while.
