Barry M Sugar Apple

Hello my lovelies and happy Sunday! I'm probably off somewhere enjoying the sunshine but I decided to not be a bad blogger and schedule this post for you. I was actually sure that I posted about this polish already but it seems that it slipped my mind. Even though it was over one month ago, I still remember how many compliments I got for this manicure. It's funny how something so simple can attract everyone's attention, but manicures that take hours to create barely get noticed. This manicure is very easy to create, yet it was a total success.

Sugar Apple from the Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine line is a minty pastel creme. It's the perfect combination between blue and green, so I couldn't resist this lovely color and it fell right into my cart on Asos. The pictures made it look a lot more blue than it really is so I had to alter them a bit to make them look more accurate. Here's the polish by itself.

Even though this is a pastel, the formula is quite good and it's not chalky at all. Two coats were all I needed to make it opaque. It didn't go on quite perfectly but top coat helped level out the few streaks it had. To make it more interesting I added some white dots on top. I did my best to make small dots because I think they look better than the larger ones.

I really enjoyed wearing these nails and enjoyed all the compliments I got for them. Some of the girls at work thought that these were stickers which is always a great compliment because it shows that you did a great job with your nail art. I hope you enjoyed these nails and wish you all a wonderful Sunday!

  1. What a pretty light blue! Love the classic white polka dots on it too.
