Monday Blues: Cracked

Hello my lovelies! Is it just me or is Monday the busiest day of the week? I don't know hot it happens but I always have lots of stuff to do on Monday. Preparing this post is one of those things and I wouldn't miss it for the world. I know that everyone is doing only holiday related manicures these days but this week I decided to go for something a little different. I wanted to use one of my new p2 polishes that a friend got me from Germany a few weeks ago and I decided to pair it with some blue stamping. This is what came out.

China Glaze Let's Chalk About It

Hello my lovelies! We're already five days into March and we could say that spring is upon us. It's still pretty cold where I live, but it's been sunny all week and I can tell that the air is changing. To celebrate the coming of spring I've been wearing light colors and pastels on my nails all week. I've started with a polish from the House of Colour collection from China Glaze, which is the Spring 2016 collection. I picked out 3 polishes from this collection and today I want to show you the first one. I don't wear pink very often (read never) but this one caught my eye because it's very subtle. Check it out!

Monday Blues: Barry M Sky Blue

Hello my lovelies! Can you believe that it's Monday already? I've had a busy week and spent most of the weekend getting some rest, hence the lack of posts. I didn't even have time to do my nails all week, so I wore last week's manicure until yesterday, when I managed to prepare some nails for today. I placed a small order on Asos a week ago and it also contained two polishes. The one I'm showing you today is a lovely color that I just couldn't resist. I admit I didn't need this in my collection but it jumped in my cart and I couldn't help it.

Monday Blues: Baroque Triangles

Hello my lovelies! Another week has passed and I haven't blogged as much as I'd like to. I've been busy and then tired and then I finally managed to get some rest. Of course I did my nails a couple of times but didn't get around to posting anything. Monday Blues is a must though, so I still manage to do at least a post every week. This week's blue manicure is a little weird but the polish is a beautiful one so I think you'll like it anyway. Here we go!

Monday Blues: Cerulean Chevrons

Hello my lovelies! Whoa, what a week! I've been working like a maniac and then I tried to get some rest during the weekend, so nails and blogging have been on the back burner. I didn't even celebrate the fact that my blog turned 4 last week. Unfortunately I didn't have time to create a special manicure for the occasion. But Monday Blues is always a great occasion to celebrate and every blue manicure is something special for me. So I'll just show you today's nails because they are awesome!

Monday Blues: China Glaze Boho Blues

Hello my lovelies! It's the first Monday in August and I'm on vacation! I slept in and spent part of my morning in bed, but then I rushed to the computer to write this post for you. I really want to blog more this month because I will finally have the time to do nails. Unfortunately my nails are not in the best shape. I reduced them to complete nubs two weeks ago and they didn't grow as much as I expected. Due to the fact that I had nothing prepared in advance for today, you will have to accept them as short as they are. Hope you don't mind!

Monday Blues: Barry M Eat My Dust

Hello my lovelies! It's been ages since I've written a post and I feel kinda rusty. I should apologize for my absence from the blog in the last weeks but I've been away most of the time and really busy when I was in town. The next weeks aren't looking good either, but I'll try to squeeze some blogging in between. As I mentioned before, I was away for over a week and the destination of my journey was Dublin. So I had the chance to buy a few polishes from brands that aren't normally accessible to me. Of course the first one was Barry M, which is a big favorite of mine. Everybody loves their Gelly polishes but I've always had issues with drying time so when they brought out the Speedy Quick Dry polishes I couldn't wait to try them out. I got a couple and the first one I'm showing you today is a beautiful blue.

Essie Mind Your Mittens

Hello my lovelies! Long time, no post, right? I've had a very busy week at work and can't wait to enjoy the great weather this weekend. I'm excited to ride my bike this afternoon but first I have a manicure to show you. It's been a long time since I've had these pictures on my computer so it was high time for me to show them to you. Here we go!

Snowy Christmas Trees

Hello my lovelies! It's Christmas Eve morning and it's the beginning of 5 days of no work for me. This has put me in a great mood, one that determined me to start writing this post for you. This is the first proper Christmas manicure I've done this year and I couldn't wait to show it to you. It's simple, but still holiday appropriate. Hope you like it!

China Glaze Intelligence, Integrity and Courage

Hello my lovelies! My holiday is almost over by now but this is still a scheduled post. It's about a polish I picked up a couple of months ago and didn't get to wear until later. It was my only pick from China Glaze's The Giver collection and I chose it because it seemed like one of those unusual colors that I like so much. The funny thing was that around that time I received a very similar polish from a friend, namely & Other Stories Blunt Grey. They are not identical because that one is more blue and this one is a bit darker and more grey, but they are still very similar. Which only goes to show that this is totally a me color and that my friends know me well.

Farmec Autumn-Winter 2014 Nail Polish Collection - Swatches and Review

Hello my lovelies! It's Saturday and it's the perfect time to relax. I'm finally having a weekend that I can fully enjoy. My only job for today is to write this post and tell you everything about a collection of nail polishes brought out by a local brand. It's not the first time I talk about Farmec on my blog. It's a brand of cosmetics that comes from my very own city, Cluj, and has a tradition of over 120 years. I tried some of their polishes but always complained that the colors weren't very diverse. They finally started bringing out some fun shades starting in the summer of last year. So now they bring out small collections of 7 fun shades in the summer and autumn of every year. I received this year's autumn-winter collection at the last Beauty Bloggers Meeting Cluj and decided to swatch them all for you. This will be a massive post so grab a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy. I thought about breaking it into two posts but thought that having all the shades together would be better. So here we go!

Monday Blues: & Other Stories Blunt Grey

Hello my lovelies! Today's Monday Blues post comes even later than usual because I'm having some issues with my computer and I've been trying to fix them ever since I came back from work. Other than that, today was a pretty good day. It's really cold outside but at least it's sunny. The polish I'm showing you today is perfect for the season and it's right up my alley. Don't be fooled by its name. I think there is a lot of blue in this one and nobody can deny that. Take a look!

OPI Can't Let Go and My Vampire Is Buff

Hello my lovelies! I'm really proud of myself because I'm not a bad blogger anymore. Even though I'm going away for a conference this week, I still managed to schedule some posts for you to read while I'm gone. The first one is this one, where I will be showing you two OPI shades that I've swatched through the courtesy of my friend Kinga. Unlike me, she has a larger OPI collection and I managed to borrow a few of them in the last months. First up we have a gorgeous purple Liquid Sand that I really loved.

Monday Blues: OPI Can't Find My Czechbook

Hello my lovelies! It's the first day of September which means summer is over but it also means it's time for a new start. There's something awesome about months that start on a Monday. It's the perfect day to make resolutions and start new projects. My resolution for this month is to be a better blogger and post more. Let's see how it's gonna go. The first blue of the month is a truly awesome one. It comes from the OPI Euro Centrale collection and it's the first polish from this collection that I actually own. I have previously tried You're Such a Budapest and My Vampire Is Buff, but wasn't impressed by neither of them. It's a whole other story with this one though.

China Glaze Be More Pacific

Hello my lovelies! I'm finally getting around to writing some posts for you because I have a bunch of older manicures to show here. My latest haul featured a lot of China Glaze polishes, both from older and newer collections. I already showed some of them and now it's time for an amazing bright green from this year's summer collection called Off Shore. I really love the ocean inspired names of the polishes in this collection and this one is no exception.

China Glaze Feel the Breeze

Hello my lovelies! It's Saturday and that means it's time for some rest & relaxation. It also means that I finally have time to do some blogging. Today I realized that I have a ton of manicures that I haven't shown you, so I really need to get my act together and write some posts. I'm starting with a very summery polish from the 2014 Off Shore collection from China Glaze. I have to admit that this is a color I don't normally wear, but I didn't have anything similar in my collection and I needed something different so it fell into my cart. I wore it with a holographic glitter accent nail just to make it more interesting and more me.

Barry M Sugar Apple

Hello my lovelies and happy Sunday! I'm probably off somewhere enjoying the sunshine but I decided to not be a bad blogger and schedule this post for you. I was actually sure that I posted about this polish already but it seems that it slipped my mind. Even though it was over one month ago, I still remember how many compliments I got for this manicure. It's funny how something so simple can attract everyone's attention, but manicures that take hours to create barely get noticed. This manicure is very easy to create, yet it was a total success.

Monday Blues: Avon Royal Vendetta

Hello my lovelies! It's Monday, I know. But the fact that it's warm and the sun is shining makes this a great start of the week. For those of you who are on vacation, I envy you a lot! But for those who, like me, have to work this week, let us make the best of the sun and try to be cheerful no matter what. I have some beautiful blue nails to get us all in the right mood today. It's such a great thing when a polish is amazing and you get to write a positive post about it. Here's what I'm talking about.

China Glaze Lotus Begin

Hello my lovelies! It's been ages since my last post but this time I have a reason. I had an exam yesterday so I spent this week (and most of last week) studying. It went well and you have no idea how happy I am that I'm finally free. I feel like I haven't done proper nail art or nail blogging in a long while. What I did do last weekend is create a very fun look using a bright shade from the City Flourish collection from China Glaze. I also added some neon studs from the Born Pretty Store and this is the final result.

Monday Blues: Summer Dreaming

Hello my lovelies! Where did the weekend go? I swear I have no idea where mine went and I miss it a lot. So Saturday was the first day of summer, which means that it's officially beach season. I don't know about you but I very much need a vacation. Unfortunately, I still have a month to go until I get one, so I decided to paint the sea on my nails. I wore this manicure for several days last week and enjoyed it a lot.
