Astor Elegant Amethyst

Hello my lovelies and happy Sunday! As I promised yesterday, I am back with another post in an attempt to get rid of all the pictures I gathered in my blog folder. These are from almost two months ago so it was high time for me to post them. It's been a long time since I've showed you a textured polish on the blog. I must admit that I'm kinda over the trend and I haven't purchased any new ones in a long time, so the ones I post here and there are borrowed ones. I do love the ones I already own and I occasionally wear them or use them for nail art. Today's polish comes from a brand called Astor and was kindly lent to me by a friend.

Zoya Carter

Hello my lovelies! It's Saturday and I'm enjoying the last days of my vacation. The weather is a bit chillier compared to the last days but I'm glad that spring is finally here to stay. The polish I'm showing you today was actually part of a fall collection from a couple of years ago. I know that Zoya has decided to discontinue their PixieDust line, which is a pretty weird decision in my opinion. I thought that I should share my thoughts on this polish because maybe some of you still have access to it so you should decide if you want it before it's completely gone.

Monday Blues: Yes Love G18-3

Hello my lovelies! It's the first Monday in October and even though I'm not that happy with summer being over, I try to console myself with the fact that my birthday is in less than 2 months. I must admit that today wasn't such a bad day and the polish I'm gonna show you is gonna make it even better. It comes from a brand I don't know much about and I didn't find a lot of info online either. I'll just take it as it is and thank my good friend Kinga for bringing it to me from her vacation. It's truly a beautiful polish!

OPI Can't Let Go and My Vampire Is Buff

Hello my lovelies! I'm really proud of myself because I'm not a bad blogger anymore. Even though I'm going away for a conference this week, I still managed to schedule some posts for you to read while I'm gone. The first one is this one, where I will be showing you two OPI shades that I've swatched through the courtesy of my friend Kinga. Unlike me, she has a larger OPI collection and I managed to borrow a few of them in the last months. First up we have a gorgeous purple Liquid Sand that I really loved.

OPI Solitaire and Designer...De Better!

Hello my lovelies! It's Friday and this weekend is very much expected by me, especially because it's a 3-day one since Monday is a holiday. Today's post is all about some OPI polishes that I got to try out through the courtesy of the lovely Kinga (if you haven't already, please go check out her blog cause you won't regret it). I don't have many OPI polishes in my collection and it's definitely fun to experiment with older collections and polishes that a lot of people raved about. The first OPI I'm gonna talk about comes from the Bond Girls Collection of Liquid Sand polishes and looks like this.

Monday Blues: OPI Tiffany Case

Hello my lovelies! This Monday is a good one for me because I'm on holiday. I think a lot of you have today off as well, so you'll probably enjoy this day as much as I do. And to top it all off, I have a gorgeous blue polish to show you. Believe it or not, this is the first time I try one of the OPI Liquid Sand polishes. I've tried a lot of brands of textured polish but didn't have the chance to try the one that started it all. But now thanks to my friend Kinga who was kind enough to lend it to me I finally tried one and I'm impressed.

Monday Blues: Golden Rose Galaxy 12

Hello my lovelies! It's Monday so it's time for some blue. This is the last of the Golden Rose polishes I had to show you and it's also the sparkliest of them all. The Galaxy line is a fairly new one from Golden Rose. It contains lots of glittery textured polishes in all kinds of color combinations. Of course I had to try the blue one as my very first. Here's how it looks.

Golden Rose Holiday 82

Hello my lovelies! It's a lovely spring day over here and it's also time for me to show you a beautiful textured polish. I have a huge collection of this type of polishes in every color, but what I didn't have was a gold one. Not anymore though because this beauty came into my life and completed my collection. It comes from the Holiday line from Golden Rose and looks like this.

Textured Gradient

Hello my lovelies! I'm not in the mood for talking much today but I wanted to show you this manicure I did last week because it's been a while since I posted some nail art on the blog. I've been seeing a lot of textured gradient manicures around lately and my friend Kinga went on and on about how easy they were to create. She told me that gradient polishes are easier to blend and that's why you get a perfect gradient in no time. I finally decided to give it a go and here's the result.

Rimmel Moon Walking

Hello my lovelies! I know the textured polish trend is sort of old news, but I still love to wear one every once in a while. The one I'm showing you today comes from the Rimmel Space Dust collection and was a gift from my sister. I really like receiving polishes as gifts because it makes me try out stuff that I wouldn't necessarily choose myself. This polish didn't catch my attention in the shop but is such a great discovery. See for yourself!

TPA Group Challenge: Color Blocking

Hello my lovelies! It's finally Saturday. Boy was this week long! The theme for this week's TPA challenge is color blocking. I have to admit that I almost didn't take part in this one because I didn't have time to do the manicure and had no inspiration at first. But then I stayed up later last night and managed to do something last minute. I tend to do awful work under pressure, so I apologize if the result is a little weird. Here we go!

Zoya Chita

Hello my lovelies! I don't know about you, but I'm still obsessed with the textured polish trend. I do think my collection is complete now, especially after purchasing the Kiko Sugar Mat collection, but that doesn't mean I've worn all the ones that I have. Zoya Chita has been in my collection for a few months and I just got around to wearing it last week. Why that didn't happen sooner I can't tell you. It's probably a case of the "too many polishes, too few fingers" issue.

Kiko Sugar Mat Nail Lacquer Set - review and swatches part 2

Hello lovelies! As promised yesterday, I'm back with the second half of the Sugar Mat holiday set from Kiko. If you've missed the first post you can go read it by clicking here. In addition to the warmer shades in this collection, the first post also includes photos of the box these come in so make sure you check it out if you are thinking of buying this as a gift for someone. It's the perfect gift for a polish lover in my opinion.

Kiko Sugar Mat Nail Lacquer Set - review and swatches part 1

Hello lovelies! This is the first of two posts that are a little different from what I normally do. I don't review whole collections and rarely do a post that includes more than one polish (besides nail art, of course). The lovely people at Kiko have come out with some holiday collections this year, two of which are made out of polish. The biggest purchase on my trip to Germany was one of these sets, and I decided to swatch all the polishes and show them to you as soon as possible in case you wanna get them yourself. These are available in all Kiko stores, as well as on their website that now ships to 25 European countries (including Romania). So without further ado, here are all the polishes in this set.

p2 Sand Style Opulent

Hello my lovelies! It's a lazy Saturday for me and I really meant to post this earlier but somehow the morning ran by. You all know that I'm a big fan of textured polish, especially of the sparkly kind. The p2 brand is one of my favorites and they brought out some new Sand Style shades this fall. While I wasn't quite into most of the new shades, I did like one of them and had to buy it. I think it's a very interesting polish. Let's take a look!

Monday Blues: Navy Texture Mix

Hello my lovelies! I'm still away from home but I couldn't miss Monday Blues so this is another post I've scheduled for you. The manicure I'm showing you today involves a lot of stuff I love. You all know that I'm obsessed with blue polish and my absolute favorite polish of all time is China Glaze First Mate. I was very happy when I found out that Zoya came out with a textured version of this color in the form of Sunshine. I immediately knew that I had to combine these two beauties in one manicure and that's how this was born.

Golden Rose Holiday 73

Hello my lovelies! In today's post I'm gonna try something for the first time: I'm gonna do a bilingual post. I decided to occasionally translate some of my posts in Romanian, but I'm not going to do it for all the posts, just ones that I think would interest my Romanian readers. It's the first time I write in my language and I'm really nervous, but I hope I will be up to the task. The polish I want to show you today is my very first textured polish from Golden Rose. They have a whole line called Holiday, with 31 lovely textured shades. You know how much I love this type of polishes, so I was excited to try the Golden Rose ones.

Ro: Buna tuturor!

Born Pretty Store Textured Nail Polish Review

Hello my lovelies! I have a bunch of Born Pretty Store products to show you, so be prepared for some nail art related posts in the following days. But first I would like to start with a cute set of textured nail polishes from the brand Tribal. There are a few color options for this set, with brighter or more elegant colors. I didn't have any red textured polishes in my collection, so I chose the set with the number 10, which looks like this.

p2 Sand Style Strict

Hello my lovelies! I have to apologize again for the lack of posts this week. I have no excuse except that life got in the way. On the bright side, I plan on posting every day of the weekend starting today. I have nail art planned for tomorrow, but today I have a very interesting polish to show you. You know I like textured polishes, especially ones with plenty of glitter in them, so this one had to be mine.

Monday Blues: Zoya Sunshine

Hello my lovelies! It's the last day of September and frankly, I couldn't be happier that this dreadful month is over. Not that I'm a big fan of October, but this past month has been very hard for me. The weather outside is very cold and rainy like November anyway. To cheer you up I have some Sunshine for you. Zoya Sunshine that is.
