Monday Blues: Holo Snowflakes

Hello my lovelies! It's the last Monday before Christmas and I'm on holiday. Whatever you are celebrating this week, I wish you all to relax and be with your loved ones. Just the thought that today is the first day of two weeks of relaxation makes me happy. I'm doing a bit of cleaning and organizing today, so everything is ready for the holidays. Of course I had to take a break to write this post for you. It's no surprise that I created another snow themed manicure, but this time we've got holo glitter too!

This week, instead of stamping with white on blue I decided to switch it up and go the other way around. I chose a simple snowflake image from plate BP-01 from the Born Pretty Store and used A-england Tristam to stamp it. This polish is almost a one coater so I knew it would be perfect for stamping. There's a subtle holo effect to it but that doesn't quite show when you use it for stamping.

The polish I used as a base is OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, which is my current go to white. With a careful application you only have to use two coats, especially if your nails are short like mine. After stamping with Tristam I added a coat of a tiny holo glitter called Essence I Love Magic, which is a perfect dupe for China Glaze Fairy Dust. Check out that holo in direct light!

This has been my manicure for the weekend and I will probably remove it in a couple of days to do my Christmas manicure. But until then I will continue enjoying the holo. Hope you do too! Don't forget that you can check out the rest of the Monday Blues of this month by clicking the links below.

Have a great week and happy holidays!
