TPA Group Challenge: Lollipop Nails

Hello my lovelies! It has been a busy week for me and I didn't get to post as much as I wanted. I have a lot of polishes to show you and no time to write the posts. I couldn't miss the TPA group challenge though, so I'm showing you a simple manicure that I hope you'll enjoy. The theme was lollipop nails, which naturally requested for some fun colors. Here's what I came up with.

I decided to go with stamping because I had the perfect plate for this challenge. This image from plate BM-306 is full of lollipops and all sorts of candy. Of course I went with a light blue base (Illamasqua Caress) and stamped with the pink holo from Kiko, namely 402 Jewel Pink.

I was very pleased with how this mani came out and then I had a lot of trouble photographing it. The camera I currently use made the pink look flat and not pink at all. So I tried using my old camera and the pictures came out a lot better. The holographic effect is not very strong but it does give a pretty sparkle to the stamping. Here's how it looks in direct light.

I enjoyed wearing these a lot and I do hope you like them too. If you want to see some more lollipop nails make sure you check out these links:
