TPA Group Challenge: Vintage Nails

Hello my lovelies! Excited for the weekend? The weather is sunny over here so it's not too bad, even if it's pretty cold. We had the first snow yesterday but it was very little, which means it's gone now. It actually got me more into the Christmas spirit so now I can't wait to have a full white carpet at my feet. The TPA challenge is back today with another fun theme. Even if it's not really holiday related, I still had to participate because I love it. Here are my vintage nails!

I think there are many ways to look at this theme and the most common ones include the vintage roses pattern and the vintage wallpaper or embroidery manicure. I went with the latter because I'm so fond of this type of design. It just makes me think of precious fabric with golden embroidery. It's not the first time I create a manicure with the vintage theme. You can find my previous vintage manicure with its inspiration here

I started with two coats of Essie School of Hard Rocks, one of my favorite dusty fall colors that I didn't get to use this year. I then stamped a design from plate BM-312 using my go-to gold for stamping, Golden Rose Nail Art 108. I added a matte top coat but first I took some pictures of it shiny. I don't think the difference is very noticeable because of the dusty color, but here's the shiny version.

I definitely love this look and can't wait to see what the other girls have come up with for today's theme. Here they are:

This is such a gorgeous mani Mihaela!!! I love it! We had our first snow yesterday and I was not happy. While it didn't stick too much, it sure stuck to the car and I was scraping ice off in the cold :(.
