Hello my lovelies! This week has been full of swatches, which means it's time for some nail art. I've been waiting to post this entry for the Getting Ready for Christmas challenge for a while now because I had these nails ready from the beginning of the month. Snowflake manicures are my favorite thing to do in the winter and this time I went for a more unconventional color. But I love it!
First off, let me just sing a praise to the China Glaze creme. China Glaze is my favorite brand and even though I love their glitters and shimmers, the thing I love the most are the cremes. Most of the staple cremes in my collection come from this brand so I absolutely had to get this one. It's called Queen B and it comes from the Autumn Nights collection. Queen B is the perfect
blurple indigo creme. The color is absolutely gorgeous and it's the perfect mix of blue and purple. The closest thing I have in my collection is Inglot 992, but this one is more purple and it's darker so no dupes here.
The formula of this polish is absolutely perfect. If I were one of those people that can do a perfect first coat I wouldn't need a second one. Unfortunately I'm not, so I needed a second one to correct some of the mistakes I did. I then stamped the snowflakes from plate BM-323 using Konad White. I used the whole image for the middle finger and isolated one snowflake from it to stamp on the other fingers. The one on my pinkie didn't come out that great but I hope you will forgive me.
I decided to add a little bonus to this post and show you some of the jewelry I did using the snowflake images from plates BM-316 and BM-323. I did some earrings and a ring with a base of INM Northern Lights and Orly Snowcone. For the pendant I used Essie Coat Azure. What do you think?
I'm looking forward to doing more snowflake manicures this year. I'm just saving them for January cause they can be done all winter, not just for Christmas. I hope you've enjoyed this post! Don't forget that you can follow Elsa's Facebook page to see all the entries in the challenge!
