Hello my lovelies! I have to admit that I had no idea how to name this post. I basically wanted to show you a subtle stamping manicure that I did a couple of weeks ago and tell you how lovely it was. I finally came up with this phrase and after googling it I found out that there's actually a song with this title. So I guess I was on to something when I chose this phrase. Anyway, you all know I'm a big fan of subtle stamping and I use it a lot nowadays for my work manicures. This particular one started from my wish to use the beautiful A-england Ascalon again. Here's what came out.
I went with a grey bordering on purple theme for this one. The color I chose as a base is called Boys Are Back In Town and comes from one of those Essence Colour3 duos that were discontinued ages ago. It's a shame because it's a beautiful grey with a hint of purple. I chose it to match the purple duochrome in Ascalon (my stamping color).
I used plate BM-313 for the stamping. It has two of those mirror images so I stamped one of them on most of the nails and the other one on the accent nail. It's quite a cool effect. I like it a lot!
This manicure was a lot of fun because of the holo and duochrome effect in Ascalon. Purple is hard to photograph so that's why you can't really see the way both polishes looked in real life. I personally enjoy this types of manicures a lot and I will surely do one of these every once in a while in the future.
