Monday Blues: Elegant Triangles

Hello my lovelies! Another Monday, another blue manicure. It's been a really great weekend and a good week. It was busy, but nothing I can't handle. I've been wearing last week's Monday Blues manicure for over a week, which is a real record for me. I finally removed it yesterday and had to shorten my nails because they were in a really bad shape. Short nails look great with a more neutral manicure, so I decided to use a nude polish that my great friend Kinga gave me as a gift. Here's the final look.

Again I must apologize if my skin looks a little weird in these pictures. I guess I still have to work on setting up my camera. I do think however that the nails came out great color wise. You can clearly see the blue in the triangles because it doesn't look black. The nude color is pretty accurate too.

The nude polish comes from Claire's Gel Nail Polish line and is called Nude Gel. Of course it's a regular polish but it has a thicker consistency and dries to a very shiny finish. I used two coats for this manicure and then added a coat of Seche Vite to make it dry faster. After it was dry I taped some triangles and filled them in with S-he Stylezone 295. I quickly removed the tape and finished everything with another coat of Seche Vite.

I don't know about you but I really love these nails. They are so elegant yet fun. I really didn't expect to like this polish so much and I'm really glad my friend gave it to me. Don't forget that you can check out the rest of this month's Monday Blues in the links below!

Have a great week!
