Monday Blues: Laced Up

Hello my lovelies! What can be better than a Monday with little work? I'm already done with that and now I can enjoy the rest of the day. The weekend has been quite nice too, so I really have nothing to complain about. In the last month I've been doing manicures inspired by spring and summer, with bright colors and fun patterns. This time I went with something dark and elegant because I try to mix it up every once in a while. This look goes well with longer nails so I had to take advantage before shortening them again. Here we go!

The polish I used as a base for this manicure is a very dark blue called S-he Stylezone 295. I have showed this polish before on the blog but this time I managed to photograph it better. It's a very dark shade of navy blue that to me looks absolutely gorgeous. It's also very pigmented, so you can get away with just one coat, although I did two for this manicure. The fact that it's so pigmented makes it stain the cuticles a bit upon removal, but at least it doesn't stain the actual nail if you use a base coat.

On top of this gorgeous polish I stamped an image from Moyra plate 15 Lacelove. I also used a stamping polish from Moyra, namely SP10 Metal Rose. I think the two colors go really well together. The stamping didn't come out perfect on every nail but I think that kinda adds to the vintage lace look.

This manicure was on my nails for most of last week and I enjoyed wearing it. I love to wear dark colors every once in a while, even in the spring and summer. The lace made it look so elegant and the rose color of the stamping made it stand out. Let me know what you think and don't forget to check out the rest of the Monday Blues of May in the links below!

Have a great week!
