Monday Blues: Spring Tartan

Hello my lovelies! April is here! If you've been reading my blog for a while you know by now that I'm not a fan of the cold season. So naturally I'm very happy that spring has arrived. I went on the first bike ride of the season yesterday and I couldn't be happier. My nails are also spring appropriate of course. Take a look!

I'm really excited to show you these nails because I did some double stamping that I'm really proud of. The placement isn't perfect but I think it's pretty close, which makes me really happy. The base polish I used for this design is Barry M Lap of Honour from the Speedy collection, a lovely lilac creme. It's not very visible because the design covers it up, but it was a great base that went on in two smooth coats.

On top of it I stamped two different tartan images from Moyra stamping plate 02 Fabric Texture. These patterns are perfect for double stamping because they match when you layer them on top of each other. I stamped the first one using the light blue stamping polish 9# from the Born Pretty Store and the second one using Mundo de Unas White. To place everything perfectly I used the Clear Jumbo stamper from Fab Ur Nails.

I'm so happy with how these nails came out! I keep looking at them and admiring them. Hope you like them too! Don't forget to check out the rest of today's Monday Blues in the links below!

Have a great week!
