Monday Blues: Blue Suns

Hello my lovelies! It's been a long time since I did a Monday Blues post and I missed it a lot. Since a large part of the manicures I wear contain blue, I have a few to show you from these past months. Most of them are quite simple, because I haven't done any intricate nail art lately. Somehow the patience has deserted me, so whenever I decide to do nail art at all, I do simple stamping. I know that I don't sound very enthusiastic, sorry about that. But I do love today's manicure. Here it is!

This is some tone on tone stamping I did using a new stamping plate that the kind people from the Born Pretty Store have sent my way. It's plate BP-L100 and it's full of different sizes and shapes of dream catchers and feathers, which I'm a fan of. I chose a bigger dream catcher design for most of my nails, and only stamped the middle part of it, so they look like stylized suns. I didn't center them perfectly on all the nails, even though I used a clear jelly stamper, so you can tell I'm rusty at stamping. For the accent nail I used the feather that was hanging below the dream catcher.

The nail polishes I used are both from Kiko. The base was Kiko 295 Cerulean Blue, a gorgeous bright blue creme, and for the stamping I used Kiko 623 Blue from he Mirror collection. I have a couple of these Mirror polishes and they are great for stamping.

I really loved these bright blue nails back when I wore them. This kind of manicure is right up my alley. Don't forget that you can use code MFL91 to get 10% off your Born Pretty Store order. I will see you soon for another Monday Blues!

Have a great week!
