Purple Paisley

Hello my lovelies and happy Sunday! Today's post is all about nail art. I try to do at least one of these a week to keep you entertained. But the truth is that I've been really uninspired lately and I've only worn glitter manicures for the last week. Luckily, I still have some older photos to show you from when I was too busy with exams. This particular manicure has been very much enjoyed by me so I hope you will like it too.

I started with a gradient of Illamasqua Jo'Mina and Rimmel Purple Reign. I still haven't found the perfect type of sponge to do those airbrushed gradients and it really pisses me off because foundation sponges are so expensive over here that you can't just buy a bunch and see which one works. I wasn't too happy with my gradient and I had to do something to spice it up a bit.

So I stamped using my beloved paisley plate (BM-315) and China Glaze Liquid Leather. I absolutely adore this pattern and I need more paisley plates, so if you know any other please leave me a comment cause I would sure like to know.

All in all, I was happy with how this came out and I wore it for about a week with no chipping or anything like that because that's how good Illamasqua polishes are. I would still love to master gradients one day because every time I do one I end up not being fully satisfied with it. Any tips?
