Neon Suns

Hello my lovelies! It's Saturday and I have some nail art for you, as promised. These nails are from a couple of weeks ago, but I still have a lot of older stuff to post and I'm trying to catch up. I have no idea what I had in mind when I created these. All I know is that I wanted them very colorful and I think I totally reached my goal.

I started with a base of Sation Strumming my Nails. This off-white creme has become my number one base for nail art lately. I need to post a review because it's totally awesome. On top of it I began sponging different neon colors. If I remember correctly I used Orly Fancy Fuchsia, China Glaze I'm With The Lifeguard, Farmasi 125 and Orly Skinny Dip. All I did was sponge them as randomly and as differently as possible on each nail, using a tiny piece of sponge.

I always like to stamp something on top when I create a sponge manicure. This time I used an image from plate CH48. These look like suns to me so that's where the title of this post comes from. I don't remember what polish I used for the stamping, but it didn't come out perfect as you can see. I have purchased the black stamping polish from Konad in the meantime so my stamping has improved considerably.

What do you think about these nails? I know the whole design is totally random, but I liked wearing them because they were so bright and summery. I'm planning some more stamping nail art for tomorrow with a little tutorial so stay tuned!

  1. Its such a fun manicure! I really like it :) I've not been wearing anything on my nails this week surprisingly but I'm planning to do something tomorrow if I have the time before I go to work.

  3. Thank you! It seemed a little random so I wasn't sure if I should post it. Glad you liked it.
