Hello my lovelies! It's Saturday, which means most people are relaxing today. We had an extended weekend in my country so I've already had a lot of fun in the last days. That's why blogging has been sort of on the back burner this week. Hopefully I'll be a better blogger next week because there sure is a lot that I wanna show you. Today's post is all about a hidden gem. This polish comes from the Cirque du Soleil collection and is a great jelly. Naturally, I had to create a jelly sandwich using it.
Creative Fantasy is a bright purple jelly. It looks like a neon in the bottle but it's darker so I will just call it very bright. It doesn't have the best formula and it's quite sheer and a little patchy. That's why it's harder to get even if you are using it by itself. But I think it's perfect for sandwiches.
I started with two coats of Creative Fantasy and then added one thicker coat of Etude House PBK803 Coco Black, one of my favorite layering glitters. I finished with a thin coat of Creative Fantasy and a coat of Seche Vite. The jelly dries to an almost matte finish so top coat is mandatory to make it look good.
One thing I can certainly tell you is that this sandwich looked a lot better in real life. There's just something about jelly sandwiches that can't be captured in pictures. You have to see them for yourself. I'm very glad that I have a purple jelly in my life and I'm looking forward to completing my collection with every color possible. I love them so much!
