Monday Blues: Metallic Spring

Hello my lovelies! It's Monday and it's a whole new month so let's be excited. My month of May is gonna be awesome because I have a couple of trips coming up and I can't wait. Let's hope that the weather will be just right. Spring and summer are my favorite seasons so now that spring is finally here I need to get out of the house as much as I can. Bright blue nails are an absolute must for this season. The ones I'm showing you today are easy to create and very elegant.

Metallic nails are usually worn in the cold season but who says you can't wear them in the spring too? I used the saran wrap technique and multiple polishes to create this manicure but the star of the show is definitely the metallic polish. I think it looks great over the bright periwinkle.

The base color for this manicure is p2 Up In The Air!, a periwinkle polish with a hidden silver shimmer. I used saran wrap to add a bit of Essie Smooth Sailing and then Kiko 623 Blue from the Mirror collection. It's not the first time I use the combo of the p2 and the Kiko so it's definitely a match made in heaven.

These nails are so easy to create and so pretty at the same time. You don't need any nail art tools, just the wrap that you use in the kitchen. There are tons of combos to try out. Don't forget to check out the other Monday Blues of this month in the links below!

Have a great week!
