Monday Blues: Snow Trees

Hello my lovelies! It's been over 4 years since I started posting my Monday Blues and I never missed a week until last week. I always prepared my posts in advance, I scheduled posts when I went away and did my absolute best to have a post ready before the end of Monday. Unfortunately, I had an unscheduled event last weekend and combined with the crazy day that is the first day of the week plus a nasty cold I just couldn't create a manicure for you. I was disappointed but at the same time I knew that one day it will happen so I didn't beat myself up too much about it. I will still do my best to show you a blue manicure every Monday from now on. The one I have for you today is kind of a winter tradition for me. This polish is one of my favorite blues and every year I create a winter manicure using it.

The beauty I'm talking about is Orly Snowcone, a gorgeous cornflower blue creme with the perfect formula. It's so opaque that it can easily go on in one coat, although I did use two this time to make it last better on my nails. As you probably noticed, my nails are short again because they kept breaking and I couldn't stand to see them in such a bad shape.

On top of the blue, I did some white stamping using Mundo de Unas white and a tree image from plate JQ-L18 from Lady Queen. I first wanted to use some snowflakes but I found these trees and they seemed really cute and different from my usual winter manicures so I went for it.

These nails make me feel really happy every time I look at my hands. They look so fresh and jolly and they remind me of snow. Hope you've enjoyed them and don't forget to check out the rest of today's Monday Blues in the links below!

Have a great week!
