Essie Navigate Her

Hello lovely readers! I hope you are all well. I'm still recovering from my cold and the weather is not helping at all. Although it's mostly sunny, the temperatures are way below 0. I just wish this cold would go away already! This was the coldest winter we had in a lot of years. I hope today's polish will scare the cold away because it's the most springy color ever. I already showed it as a base in this post, but I think it deserves a post of its own.

Essie Navigate Her, indoors, artificial light
This lovely green creme comes from the spring 2012 collection by Essie. It was the only one I thought was a must from these and it is no coincidence that it also gives its name to the entire collection. Such an original and fresh shade of green! Now don't get me wrong, I love minty greens. But I feel that there's one in every collection for spring and summer, every brand has a few minty greens and they are all easily dupe-able. Navigate Her is a lovely celery green creme. It's a tad more dusty in reality than my pictures show. It's not one of those obnoxious light greens and looks rather elegant on my hands.

this picture is more true to color than the previous one
Application is great and this only needs 2 coats for opacity. That is great for such a light color. It's not streaky and levels out perfectly, drying to a high gloss. My pictures show it without any top coat.

this picture is the best in terms of accuracy
As usual, Essie doesn't cease to amaze us. They manage to create at least one original, elegant and gorgeous color in every collection. These kinds of shades have become staples of this brand. I compare the epicness of this polish to Cocktail Bling or School of Hard Rocks. Way to go Essie!
