p2 Sand Style Confidential

Hello my lovelies! It's been a crazy week and that's why I haven't been posting much. I'm also behind on reading and commenting on other blogs so I apologize to my fellow bloggers and hope they won't be too mad at me. Since today is Friday, I wanted to get a post up to keep you entertained during the weekend. And what better entertainment than a textured polish. I've recently gotten into these and this is the second one I've tried. Needless to say, I love it!

The p2 Sand Style polishes are the most affordable textured polishes out there. They retail for about 2 Euros and they are truly amazing because they are packed with glitter. So even if you don't like texture, you can wear these with a top coat and have very nice microglitters. Confidential consists of a dark blue base with blue, pink, gold and green glitter. The colors are harder to catch in photos, especially without top coat, but I can assure you that this looks much better in reality than in my photos.

The opacity is great with this polish, so 2 coats were all it took to achieve this look. It's easy to apply, with minimal dragging. The drying time is not too fast, but still pretty decent. One thing I'd like to mention is that because of the large amount of glitter, this needs to be removed using the foil method. I didn't even try to remove it the regular way but I'm sure it would be very hard. After wearing it for one day by itself with no chipping and barely any tip wear, I applied some top coat to see how it looks. I think I used 2 coats but I'm not sure. Here's the result.

Now you can see all the different colors of the glitter. It's just spectacular! And now a direct light picture that looks even more breathtaking.

So there you have it! Who needs complicated galaxy nail art when you have a polish like this one. I really can't decide if I like it better with or without top coat. What I do know is that I want more textured polishes in my life. What about you?

  5. I didn't realize they were already getting hard to find. My bf went to Germany again and I told him to get me 2 more. He found the one you have but didn't find the silver one. Hope he can still find it. These are so amazing!
