Monday Blues: Double Leaves

Hello my lovelies! It's been a crazy Monday for me, but at least I managed to get everything done. It's now almost dinner time and I plan to relax a bit, but not before I write this post for you. This weekend I went through my older pictures and realized I had a few unposted manicures. Most of them are not blue, but there is one that has a bit of blue in it. So in the interest of getting rid of my backlog, here's a double stamping I did a couple of months ago. My nails were very short then and I think this sparkly manicure looked perfect on them.

I think this was my first double stamping manicure where I used the clear jelly stamper to overlap designs. Of course my intention was to stamp slightly off so that both colors could be visible, making the leaves look like they have dimension. I think the result was absolutely amazing and it made me really proud.

As a base I used the beautiful turquoise scattered holo that is a-england Whispering Waves. The first photo in this post was taken in the light box and the rest are in direct light, to show the gorgeousness of this polish. I stamped using an image from plate Moyra 06 Florality 1 and two stamping polishes from Mundo de Unas: 61 Fiji and 72 Mint. There isn't a huge contrast between the base color and the stamping, yet I think it's still pretty visible.

I really hope you enjoyed these nails. It took me quite a while to figure out what I used to create them, so that should teach me a lesson about not posting manicures for so long. I also want to let you know that there are two new Moyra plates in my collection and you should expect some reviews pretty soon. Meanwhile don't forget to check out the rest of this month's Monday Blues by clicking the links below!

Have a great week!
