Summer Sunset

Hello my lovelies! It's Saturday and I haven't posted anything except for Monday Blues for a really long time, but today I decided it was time to show you some manicures that have been on my waiting list for ages. The first one is a summer nail art that I created back in August but didn't get to post. I know it's totally out of season and it seems kind of weird for me to post this now, but I really like it and now that I rediscovered it in my folders I can't help but show it to you. Plus is reminds me of summer which is always nice on such a cold gloomy day.

As you can see, this is a beautiful sunset gradient that I'm very proud of. I really love how these colors blended together and how great they look with the stamping on top. I started with a coat of Barry M Cotton and then used a sponge to create the gradient with 3 colors: Kiko 355 Canary Yellow, Rimmel Tangerine Queen and Eyeko Coral. They all blended beautifully together and created a gorgeous gradient.

I then used two images from stamping plate FUN 17 and a black stamping polish (can't remember which one) to stamp on top. I thought the palm tree would be overwhelming on all the nails so I only did an accent nail and stamped the swirls on the rest of the nails. Of course I used a clear jelly stamper for perfect placement.

I hope you don't mind me showing you these nails even though it's October. They make me warm inside while outside it's getting dark at 6 pm. Have a great weekend!
