Monday Blues: China Glaze For Audrey

Hello my lovelies! I can't believe it's Monday again. I swear this happens to me every week but I needed to say it. The weekends are far too short for my liking. Anyway, it's time for some blue nails like every Monday. This week I have a classic polish for you. I can't believe it took me so long to get this because I think it's one of the most beautiful shades ever invented. And it definitely needs no introduction.

For Audrey is the perfect Tiffany blue creme, but I don't think I needed to tell you that. It might just be the most popular China Glaze shade of all time and I can totally see why. As a big China Glaze fan, I absolutely needed this in my collection. I think that it's a must have, along with Ruby Pumps and my personal favorite, First Mate. A simple swatch would have been boring since everybody has seen this polish a thousand times by now, so I decided to do some nail art on top. I tried to get inspired by Tiffany and Co jewellery and used silver for the stamping but I'm not that happy with the result.

I used a flower stamp from plate CH16 and a-england Excalibur over two easy coats of For Audrey. I guess I need some practice with stamping or this image isn't particularly great, because I don't really like how this came out. I think they don't even look like flowers from a distance. I didn't have the patience to remove the manicure and redo it so I kept it like this.

I absolutely love this polish and I can't wait to use it again and again. Maybe next time I will be happier with the result. Please tell me what you think about it in the comment section. And don't forget you can check out some other lovely blue manicures by clicking the links below!

Have a great week!

  1. That blue is gorgeous! I love how delicate this looks :)

  2. That's so funny! One of the girls at work asked me about my stamped nails today. She thought the polish underneath came with the pattern. It's really hard to explain stamping to people.

  3. normal ca e superba mai ales ca e albastra ;)
