Autumn favorites and haul

Hello my lovelies! Another week is almost over and since it was the first week of winter, it's time for a little autumn recap. I didn't do a recap post in October because there wasn't that much to show, but I decided to do one for both October and November. I guess that you've noticed that I haven't been posting much lately. I guess that the two posts per week schedule is a thing now, whether I like it or not. I still do nail art every once in a while, which means that I was able to come up with a few favorite manicures for the last two months. Here they are!

Autumn 2014 favorites

So right on top we have the colorful watercolor palettes that I enjoyed so much and the fake water marble inspired by my lovely friend Kinga. On the bottom there's a funky 60's themed nail art and some very simple silver chevrons that give an amazing effect to the nails.

I haven't been shopping much for nail polish lately but I have been getting a lot of polish gifts. I had my birthday on Monday so there were plenty of presents and some of them were nail related. I did make a small polish order at the beginning of October and I also purchased a nail wheel with golden metallic decals.

I went to the local Beauty Bloggers Meeting a few weeks ago and came home with the latest nail polish collection from Farmec. I reviewed the whole set here.

A friend from Germany came and brought me a few polishes from there. I picked most of them myself!

And an assortment of birthday presents of the nail polish kind.

Finally, a little present I bought for myself. I've been wanting a gold leaf top coat for ages and I decided to finally splurge on one.

Once again I would like to apologize for the bad quality of these pictures. I promise that next time I will make an effort to have better ones for you. Until then, I wish you a wonderful winter and an amazing month of December!

  1. Great favorites for your manicures. Nice haul as well. I wasn't very active all that much last month and I'm not for the first two weeks of December since I have exams. Hopefully after that's done, I can be more active with blogging.
