China Glaze Blue Year's Eve

Hello my lovelies! It's another blue Monday unfortunately. I've spent a pretty lazy weekend and now I'm ready (not) for the new week. I have something really amazing to show you today! It's the second polish from the Let it Snow collection: Blue Year's Eve.

indoors, artificial light
This is the most gorgeous, royal blue glass fleck ever. Seriously, I might not sound very excited right now, but I sure was when I wore it. I've read that some people had issues with application, but for me it was just 2 effortless coats. I wore this for only 2 days, so I can't really comment on the durability. I've noticed that lately I seem to get tip wear earlier than usual, so I'm suspecting Seche Base is not that good. I'll have to do an experiment and review it for you. Sorry for not being that chatty today. I'll just let the pictures do the talking!

This is one of the big winners of this collection, along with Glittering Garland, which I will show you next. What do you think?

  1. This shade is pretty!I once owned OPI swim suit nailed it, compare to this one, I think I like this blue more!I am wearing a OPI jelly red, many ppl say it needs 3-4 coats to opaque and its hard to get even look but I just used 2 effortless coats too! and the dry time is impressing:3 so I was using the OTD top coat again with this OPI jelly!!I just laid it on thick!!and it dried sooo fast!!!and super shiny!!I m sooo in love with OTD now :P and totally forgot the :( about paying extra for it hahahaa:p

  5. @Boarbb I'm glad you like OTD! It's nice to find a good product and then recommend it to other people so they enjoy it too. I'm not sure how this compares to Swimsuit...Nailed It!, but I'm very glad I got it.

    @MariJo Thank you!

    @Julie It actually didn't. Impressive!

    @Rachel Thank you for tagging me! I will probably do it for this week's Fun Sunday.

  7. Thanks, Esther! I'm not sure how this would look on your skin tone. I'm so lucky that blues go well with mine because it's my favorite polish color!
