Hello to fall: H&M Hunt me down

H&M Hunt me down is one of the three H&M polishes I got during my holiday in Paris. If I had known that the new H&M shop that opened last month over here would not be selling cosmetics, I would have gotten more of these. They are very affordable and come in very cool shades.

 Color:

Hunt me down is from the current fall collection and is a nice and murky khaki green crème, perfect for this season. I’ve seen some comparisons on the internet and it seems to be a pretty close dupe to Chanel Khaki Vert from last year’s Les Khakis collection. This was limited edition for Fashion’s Night Out 2010, but many brands have tried to imitate these colors this past year.

Application:

The formula of this polish is ok, normal opacity and consistency. It was opaque in two coats. The problem however is the packaging. The cap of the bottle is huge, and I mean really huge. It’s hard to hold between your fingers and hard to control. I’ve also experienced hitting a nearby nail with the cap while I was polishing another. This has never happened to me before. Some of the companies that use such huge caps on their bottles make them removable, but I didn’t manage to remove this one so I think you’re not ment to.

Durability:

I wasn’t impressed by the quality of this polish. It started chipping after two days of wear. The chips were minor, but still they came too soon. After that I added some nail art to it, which I will show you in my next post, so stay tuned!

Verdict:

Nice and trendy color for this fall. I still think this polish’s wear time is too short for the 4 euros I’ve payed for it. Great if you like to change your manicures every 2-3 days.
